A safe space to talk wherever you are.

individuals.

I offer one to one counselling in a safe, confidential environment for you to discuss any problems and difficult feelings you might be experiencing. You may be here because you are struggling with relationships or you may wish to change something in your life - together we can explore the situation, identify any root causes and look at a plan of action to help you reconcile your situation, cope better at home or work, or to make changes.

As an integrative counsellor, I can work with a wider range of skills and techniques and this enables me to tailor sessions to you and your unique needs.

I believe that every human has the capacity for growth or to change something in their lives and it just takes some support and understanding to do so.

teens & young adults.

I am an experienced counsellor for older children and young adults. I understand that if this is your first experience of counselling, it may feel a little daunting or uncomfortable, so we will look at finding the best way of helping you get what you need in the session. As well as offering a safe, confidential environment to discuss your problems or difficult feelings, I often incorporate creative tools, CBT and mindfulness into my practice. These tools make sessions a bit more active, which can feel more comfortable as well as helping you build resilience, improve self esteem and manage low mood and anxiety.

With the pressure of social media and school or university life, developing a better understanding of self and owning a set of new coping skills can help you to become stronger and more confident to enjoy opportunities ahead.

couples & relationships.

I can offer support to you and your partner around a number of issues that might be making you unhappy such as disagreements, growing apart, problems communicating, betrayal of trust, affairs, or different views on parenting. You may be struggling with separation or divorce, or suffering with anxiety around dating, or a new relationship - I am here to help. If you are struggling to decide whether to stay together or to separate, I can help you to process your thoughts and form a plan of action.

Many of my clients are navigating the sometimes daunting and confusing world of online dating and new relationships, sometimes following the breakdown of a longterm relationship or marriage. We can take a few sessions to prepare you for this and work out who you are and what is most important to you as well as building your confidence before taking the next step.

Not all relationship work is around couples. It is possible to come along with your teenager, parent or work partner if you have been struggling to communicate or get along and would like some help understanding what is going on, reconciling differences and moving forwards.
